What we think, we become.

Watched The Iron Lady and found this extremely true and inspiring.

"Watch your thoughts, for they become words;
Watch your words, for they become actions;
Watch your actions, for they become habits;
Watch your habits, for they become your character;
Watch your character, for it becomes your destiny."

What we think, we become.

Thoughts for the night

If you want to love, be prepared to get hurt. If you don't want to get hurt, then don't open up your heart to love the way that it might get hurt.

Simple? I don't think so.

For some, they found love in a hopeless place.
For others, they never lose hope.

Super Sprint!

Tonight's bootcamp session was simple but not easy. Corp Wan said it was "SUPER EASY!". NGEK. salah!

Basically, all we had to do was sprint and perform grunts/burpees. Sounds easy? heh.

It brought back a lot of childhood memories. Reason: In elementary school, we've always had tryouts for track events. So every girl ( I went to a convent) would need to line up according to their house colour, and RUN. Just run as fast as you can. I always ended 2nd last if not last. ALWAYS.

Then there was bootcamp dusk session. We all had to sprint. And of course, I was either last or 2nd last. haha. Just have to accept that sprinting is not my thing. I've got no burst but I've got endurance. boom.

Finishing the Race

Long time ago, I was taught to always finish the race. And finish STRONG. To this very day, my principle stands: I MUST FINISH WHAT I STARTED. No turning back. No giving up. Even if I feel like it.

Room Project Day 3

Today I finally completed my room project! It would have taken less than 2 days if i didn't go out during the day for the past 2 days. Hehe.

Done painting all the flowers. But they still need touch ups.

Background was painted black. I think they flowers stand out more with the black background, yeah?

Background DONE.

I asked the workers in my hse to help me put the painting up. They were as excited as me! The one looking at the camera is Mat btw. Hahaha

I am assuming, the guy is not as tall as 6ft. And my painting is still taller than him. So, my painting would be roughly 4ft x 6ft? Heh.

TA-DA!!!

I'm quite happy with the result. Been getting good feedbacks about it too. Last night when we went to bed, mom was staring at the painting and she said "wow. It is actually quite nice..." *beams* heh heh heh.

If only I went to art classes, i'd probably be picasso, no?
